sf.citi hosted the final discussion of our 2022 Lunch and Learn series with State Senator Scott Wiener. We were joined by sf.citi members Comcast, Cruise, Goodcover, Google, Intuit, Meta, Microsoft, Okta, and more.
In his discussion with sf.citi members, the Senator assessed the November election results and gave an overview of what’s ahead for his office. He thought that the election provided a mixed bag of outcomes, but overall, he felt that the voters’ decisions on most elected officials and measures moved the City in the right direction. The Senator also outlined various issues his office plans to prioritize in 2022, including but not limited to continuing his progress on housing legislation, emphasizing climate change solutions, and expanding criminal justice reform.
