This year’s social season started with the RNA members-only Holiday Party in January at the famous Russian Samovar restaurant in New York City’s Theater District. Members of the organization gathered to start the preparation for the annual Spring Ball, which takes place on June 7that the Pierre Hotel. The president of the RNA John Pouschine and the co-chairs of the Ball and Young Patrons committees launched the fundraising efforts for the organization’s main charitable event of the year.
In the enchanting ambiance of the romantically lit Tolstoy Lounge guests were entertained by a virtuosic and incredible soprano, Stephanie Rivero, a graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, who delightfully performed beautiful romances by Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky.
