Learning from Practice: The Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence
Thursday, November 12th, 2020 at 6:00-7:30 pm (EST)

Sponsored by the Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence (RBA) in partnership with the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA).

Through presentations and moderated discussion RBA and leaders of educational initiatives explore its use as a foundation for education, practice, scholarship, and public engagement.

  • Identify how design and the process of placemaking contribute to the urban environment and the economic, environmental and social vitality of cities.
  • Describe how architectural education and practice can address critical urban issues and influence public health, policy, and welfare.
