NASAA has released the State Arts Agency Fiscal Year 2025 Legislative Appropriations Preview, which provides a snapshot of state arts agency budgets collected just before the start of most states’ new fiscal year on July 1. It includes information on the total appropriations each state arts agency expects to receive for FY2025 and provides an update of FY2024 funding levels.
The report will be updated as states revisit their FY2025 budgets later this summer. NASAA is sharing this preliminary version with state arts advocacy organizations as well as with other cultural funding and advocacy partners at the national level.
In addition to aggregate trends, NASAA can provide information on FY2025 per capita funding and rankings, line item funds, and changes over time. Historical trend data is available on the Funding page of NASAA’s website.
