First Nations Seeks Donor Relations Manager

First Nations Development Institute (First Nations) is a Native-led nonprofit organization working to strengthen Native American economies to support healthy Native communities. For 40 years, using a three-pronged strategy of educating grassroots practitioners, advocating for systemic change, and capitalizing Indian communities, First Nations has been working to restore Native American control and culturally-compatible stewardship of a wide range of assets they own, and to establish new assets for ensuring the long-term vitality of Native American communities. 

First Nations is now hiring a Donor Relations Manager.

The Donor Relations Manager is part of the development team and responsible for implementing the donor relations strategy in conjunction with the Vice President of Communications, Grantmaking & Development and the Individual Giving Director. The Donor Relations Manager supports the development team in broadening First Nations’ individual donor base, providing major gift, sustainer and planned giving donor pipelines, and supporting direct response activities. The Donor Relations Manager also provides administrative support to the development team to ensure effective data management and reporting and donor stewardship.
