Help available for 2.5GHz Application

The August 3 deadline for the 2.5GHz Rural Tribal Window is fast approaching!

So far, hundreds of tribal leaders and members have tuned in to First Nations’ informational webinars to learn how to apply and gain access to unassigned 2.5GHz internet spectrum through the FCC 2.5GHz Rural Tribal Window. This window is a unique opportunity for tribes to expand reliable high-speed internet to tribal communities for home and business use, or to create funding for other tribal priorities by leasing or selling the 2.5GHz license to other wireless service providers.

Now, First Nation’s next two webinars will focus on helping tribes that want to apply but still have questions, or are ready to apply but want technical support on the application. Participants will get step-by-step guidance and will come away fully prepared to apply and move forward.

As always, these webinars are free! Please feel free to attend either or both of the final two webinars, together with other members of your tribal staff and council.
