Weinstein, an Easton resident, has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2019 for Real Estate Law in New Haven, adding accolades for Commercial Finance Law in 2022 and Banking and Finance Law in 2021. The 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America marks the seventh year her peers have selected her for inclusion in the award.

“When we celebrated our 30th anniversary last year, it was a bit of a shock to realize how quickly time had passed and how much we accomplished,” Greg Pepe, founding principal, said. “We’ve not only grown our firm to well more than three dozen attorneys, but we’ve been able to help so many clients. To know that we’ve made their lives better and our peers publicly acknowledge the quality of our work means so much to everyone in our firm. I’m both thankful and humbled to be part of an organization that is so respected and effective.”

Weinstein’s areas of practice include commercial finance, real estate finance, commercial real estate, and commercial workouts and restructures. In addition, she provides counsel to clients on general business law and commercial contracting matters. She represents regional and national banks in the extension and collection of asset-based, commercial, mortgage and construction loans.

She assists her clients in structuring, documenting, negotiating, closing, working-out and restructuring their various financing transactions. Her real estate practice includes sales of REO properties, real estate acquisitions, real estate sales, and advising clients on leasing and summary process matters. Weinstein has also advised clients in connection with stock and asset sales and purchases and general business matters.

Weinstein is an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University School of Law where she has taught a course on Real Estate Transactions since 2021. She previously taught several courses on the “Legal Aspects of Healthcare Information Technology,” to master’s candidates at Sacred Heart University, College of Health Professions, in Fairfield. Weinstein has also lectured on commercial finance and health law issues.
She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College. She earned her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become regarded as a guide to legal excellence. Lawyers are not required nor allowed to pay a fee to be listed.
