There are several options for obtaining or renewing your dog’s license: On line, by U.S. mail or in person at the Town Clerk’s Office.

Residents who wish to renew their dog’s license on online may do so through the town website. This is for dogs already in the system. If you have a new dog, you will need to obtain a license in person.

A license may also be obtained through the U.S. mail. Send a self-addressed stamped envelope with a check made out to: TOWN OF EASTON. Mail it to: Town Clerk’s Office, 225 Center Road, Easton CT 06612.

The fee for licensing a spayed or neutered dog is $8. The fee for licensing an unaltered dog is $19. If your dog’s rabies vaccination is not current (expiration date MUST be after July 1, 2024), you MUST provide documentation (tags do not qualify) from the veterinarian, showing the new expiration date. No licenses will be renewed without updated information.

If you wish to obtain or renew a license in person you may do so at the Town Clerk’s Office, which is open between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Bring your four-legged friends with you for a treat.
