Easton Memorial Day Parade Returns – Easton Courier

This year’s Memorial Day parade is scheduled for Monday, May 27. Participants should arrive at the Easton Fire Department at 9 a.m. Step off will be at 9:30 a.m. sharp.

Following the parade there will be a ceremony at Easton Town Hall, honoring those who gave their lives defending our freedoms. The ceremony will include a salute to veterans, a flag raising and a rifle salute. The opening invocation will be given by Father Christopher Ford of Notre Dame of Easton. The closing benediction will be given by Father George M. Coca of St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church. Soloist Isabel Maviani will sing the National Anthem and God Bless America. After the ceremony, short remembrances will be held at Easton cemeteries.
