Concerts on the Hill Welcomes Birdsey Beers This Sunday – Easton Courier

Birdsey Beers, Easton’s up-and-coming, groove-driven Blues and Rock band that offers a self-described “harmonic odyssey,” will perform at Concerts on the Hill Sunday, July 7 at Christ Church Easton.

As noted on their website, “Formerly known as the Barn Dogs, Birdsey Beers is emerging from an identity crisis. The band is led by singer songwriter Jerry Stover from Easton. In Stover’s early career he spent six years as a full-time professional musician expat in Osaka, Japan. Now living in Easton, he had created a musical home under the not so obscure name ‘Big Barn,’ a 150 year-old barn now dedicated to supporting local music and events. It is there where he met Dan Broderick, Jody Matejka, and Jeff Gurner to complete the Easton-based quartet of Birdsey Beers.”

We’re grateful for the support of this concert’s sponsor Maple Row Tree Farm and our full season sponsor,  Tidewater Electronics, Inc. Greek Style Grill will be on premises offering authentic Greek street food.

The church’s summer program also includes:

  • 7/14: The Low Darts: New Generation Classic Rock, Pop and Soul
  • 7/21: Massive Diva: Funky Blues and Big Ballads
  • 7/28: CT Grateful Dead All-Stars: Grateful Dead tribute band
