Annual Fireman’s Carnival Kicks Off July 30 – Easton Courier

Easton’s famous Fireman’s Carnival kicks off on Tuesday, July 30 at 1 Center Road and will run through Saturday, Aug. 3. The much-anticipated town event features rides for the kids, as wells games, food and the ever-popular bingo. Rides, games and bingo run nightly from 6 to 11 p.m. Carnival goers look forward to meeting up with friends and dining on the outstanding food and desserts.

Games & Bingo 6:00pm to 11:00pm

Each year the volunteers raffle off a vehicle. This year’s winner can choose between a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland or a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The raffle drawing is Saturday August 3 at 10:30 p.m. on the firehouse green. Tickets are only $25 each and limited to just 8,000. You do not have to be present at the drawing to win. Tickets can be purchased online at https://easton-volunteer-fire-company-1.myshopify.com.

The fire department recently cleared a two-acre field to expand its training fields, which allows extra room for rides and has shortened the wait time for even the most popular ones. Many people come for dinner in the food tent, including the homemade peach cobbler and other scrumptious desserts made by firefighters’ spouses and families. All of the food is prepared by volunteers and includes favorite carnival fare like hamburgers, cheese burgers, hot dogs, sausage and peppers, chicken fingers, French fries, and steak sandwiches.

All the proceeds from the carnival go towards year-to-year firehouse costs for things like fuel, insurance, electricity, building maintenance and the purchasing of necessary equipment.
